Crummy picture -my bad. The demolition of "Captain Nick's" restaurant in Bangor, Maine, has given us two surprises. First, the former Canadian Pacific heavyweight coach has not only been spared, but was moved on the track segment upon which it has stood for years. Second, the hole in the side is not one of those unrepairable, gaping yawns, that has desecrated so many retired passenger cars. For years, the car stood in its original wine red, with gold CPR lettering.
Rumor is, the car will be moved to another location for preservation as part of another dining facility.
