Post subject:  WW&F No. 9 to power photo exursion
Recently restored Wiscasset Waterville & Farmington No. 9, an 1891 Portland Co. 0-4-4 Forney, will be featured in a March 25 day-long photographic excursion on the restored two-foot gauge railroad in Alna, Maine. Multiple run-bys and static set-ups with multiple consists typically operated by the original railroad are planned.

The event, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., will include firing up the locomotive in the morning and a staged and lit night scene. Sponsored by the WW&F Railway Museum, ticket sales are limited to 50 persons. However, if demand outstrips seating capacity, a second run will be scheduled for April 28. Tickets for the event are $100.

The March date has reached capacity and we are now taking reservations for the April 28th date. The April date is the Thursday before our spring work weekend if anyone is interested in attending both events.
