Hello,
I am looking for information on the Davenport. I know it was from the Willock collection, and that it spent time at Frontier Town, in North Hudson, NY (photo)before going to Erie Canal Village.
I am looking to understand the time frame that it was displayed there -I don't believe it ever operated at Frontier Town. I am told it came from a private collection in Maryland.
Any information or other photos would be helpful.

Thanks,

Doug Bensen

The private collector in Maryland was William Willock after he moved to Maryland from his Long Island New York home.

Thanks for the clarification. What interests me is that the first steam power to run at Frontier Town,a Porter 2-4-0, came from Willock in the mid-1950's and ran there for 25 years. 10 years or more after the Porter was retired, and two changes of ownership later, another of Willocks collection was acquired by F.T.
