Post subject:  Colorized Photo Site

This turned up on a site supporting the Adirondack Scenic Railroad, and it looks interesting enough to share here:

It's a colorized (former black and white) photo from a Facebook site called Imbued with Hues. There are a number of rail related photos there, and most have the original black and white photo with them for comparison.

Such photographs are always interesting, and in this case, my favorite of yours is the IC yard shot. It's sharp, clear, almost looks like a color photo (sometimes the results look more like a painting), and is fascinating for, of all things, the clothing the railroaders are wearing, the "risky" style of riding on the tender footboard, and noting in this and other pictures of the time how thin people generally were back then.
