Reading Railroad Caboose On The Move

Yesterday, Saturday, March 19, I saw a Reading caboose on a flatbed truck heading north on route 309 thru Coopersburg, Pa. It was painted in the yellow over green scheme, I did not note the number on such a quick glance, I believe it was riding on its trucks. Anybody have any idea of where it was shipped from and where it might be going?

Don...were they heading to Yocco's for hot dogs?

LOL. No, probably swung thru Pott's Hotdog stand drive-through in Coopersburg prior to my seeing them.
I have heard that the caboose is privately owned and headed for the Allentown and Auburn Railroad in Topton, PA.

If they were heading for Yocco's, they seem to have gotten lost.

I believe the car is now at the Allentown and Auburn.

It's not that far off of 309 to the Yocco's in Fogelsville.

No Yocco's chili dogs here in two foot gauge land. (Maine)

I doubt that many of my fellow WW&F volunteers know what a good scrapple breakfast is all about.

It would make sense that is could be going to the A&A. I know that CNJ 91507 and that Pennsy N8 are there on lease from private owners, so says the private owner of 91507.

The driver was an owner operator named Jim Lilly. He does some work for Septa and is often used by trolley museums in the northeast to move cars around. The CRHS used him to move our caboose from Long Island.

The caboose is indeed at the A&A and is privately owned by an employee of the railroad.
