Post subject:  Ken Kyer BNSF engineer

I just read that a recently retired BNSF engineer by the name of Kenneth Clyde Kyer passed away in AZ.
That name seems familiar and I believe that possibly his father was the fireman on the ATSF Farewell To Steam trip behind 4-8-4 3759. I was approached by a guy over 20 years back who worked the Peavine in AZ and he told me about his father. I had some slides of that trip and gave him some photos.
Can anybody please confirm or refute this?
Thanks for any help.
