The Northwest Railway Museum is operating steam trains in Snoqualmie this weekend. First train of the day departs Snoqualmie at 11 AM, and this year's two hour excursions include a visit to the exhibit building. SCPC 2 is heading the trains, as it will all the steam trains this season. Trains depart Snoqualmie at 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM. Trips include a visit to the top of Snoqualmie Falls too. We look forward to having an opportunity to visit with RYPN board followers and encourage you to visit this weekend while inaugural season steam discounts apply! |

My girlfriend and I rode the 1pm trip on Sunday. I think this is an improved format, where there is a stop at the CRC to go look at the collection vs. no stop. I would have liked to have seen the 924 but it was over in the other building. Nice to see work in progress to expand! |

Glad you like the new format - it has been in progress for quite some time. It will be even grander when the new Railway Education Center is completed this fall. You can view progress on the 924 by taking the tour package. With limited space, safety issues, and limited time, we can only allow 12 people in the Conservation and Restoration Center. So we are providing this access with our guided tour, and present you with another option for a repeat visit! |
