Is there a list someplace of who-got-what and where-it-went from the Sundown & Southern Sale?

At the time there were a number of postings on the Narrow Gauge Railroad Discussion Forum in which the posters provided various items.

To to the site and use the search option. Make sure that you select the correct search options.

A friend of mine told me about where a number or most of the pieces went, but can't recall specifics, although I think the locomotive went to Breckenridge,CO, a couple of cars went back to EBT and one other car went to Michigan.

However, I can personally speak for two of the gondolas. The Connecticut Antique Machinery Association got #'s 1331 and 1132, with 1331 getting a new paint job with "flying Rio Grande" stenciling. These cars will be on display and likely be pulled by our Baldwin steam locomoitve at the Fall Festival 9/28-29. See the link below. If anybody is in the area, stop by and see them along with the rest of the show.

This is some of the sales that I recall or were later commented about:

The Sumpter Valley organization purchased two cars and the former Alamosa turntable bridge. One of the cars was a RPO car.

Some members of the Friends of the C&TS funded the purchase of a Roger 4-wheel gas mechanical for use at the Chama yard. Also a steel frame flat car was purchased to go to the C&TS.

The former business car from Guatemala is reported to have been sold to an individual in the San Luis Obispo, California, area.

The steam engine went to Breckenridge.

Colorado RR Museum got some cars. To partially quote its website: "The museum bid successfully on C&S/RGS refrigerator car 1113/2101, UTLX Gramps tank car 88164, two D&RGW high-side gondolas 1217 and 1249 plus all of the parts for the 50,000-gallon water tanks from Farmington, NM and LaBoca, CO. An after auction agreement between three parties also secured a third gondola-the Alamosa Trash Gon 06299 an ex-C&S flatcar.

Hope this helps.
