Does this news in any way affect the preservation plans for the G.I. 2-8-0 and/or S.R. 722 2-8-0? Can anybody provide current information on these?

These locomotives are on the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, Bryson City, NC. The company's website shows #1702 pulling its first trip on July 22nd and continuing thru December. I don't have current info on the 722.
