This locomotive was stored at the TRRA Shops at least until 1980 when it was donated to the Transport Museum Association of Brooklyn, IL. Subsequently it was donated to the St. Louis & Chain of Rocks Railroad Association. Google and Bing have been completely useless in trying to locate either of these organizations. Does anyone happen to know where this H.K. Porter is (C/N 8081)? Thanks. |

The St. Louis & Chaine of Rocks RR was shut down by 2004 but still existed in 2009 with an income less than $10,000. The American Assn. of Railroads, Inc. was involved in setting up the StL&COR you can contact them at www.aarstl.org or www.aar-therailroaders.org |
