Thanks to William Ramsey and the rest of the SBRHS crew for the excellent article on this website on A.T.& S. F. 3751's recent trip to Williams Az. and the south rim of the Grand Canyon last month. Bob Kittel and crew can be very proud of the way 3751 ran and the great show they and the Grand Canyon Railway put on for us. Sure am happy that the boiler scale problem was easily solved. |

Thanks so much for the compliments, on behalf of the crew and supporters of the SBRHS and 3751 we all say, 'your welcome! It was our pleasure' We also have to thank Ervin White from the Grand Canyon Chapter of the NRHS who pretty much ran the show, and Amtrak, the BNSF and Metrolink who gave us just enough rope to hang ourselves with - thanks for backing us guys! A similar story will appear in our publication 'the Crew Car' - and on our website - except it will have MORE details, stories, names and facts and of course great photographs of the trip. Check our website and asked to be emailed when the site is updated and you'll get the WHOLE story in a couple of weeks. Wild Bill AKA - William Ramsey BTW - I hope all the chasers out there are ready to complete in our Photo Contest! At our website, follow the links to the 'Photo Contest' to find out all about it (CASH & PRIZES). > Thanks to William Ramsey and the rest of the > SBRHS crew for the excellent article on this > website on A.T.& S.
