Some time ago the Mid Continent Railway Museum announced the donation of the wood sleeping car Duluth which will be coming to the museum from Lake Superior. There is not much summer left in the North Country. Is there any news about the car? I hope it is on museum property before snow flies! Ted Miles |

The DSS&A Duluth arrived at Mid-Continent Railway Museum on 9/7/16. It was unloaded and placed on six wheeled trucks today (Thursday, 9/8/16). Here is a link to some photos of the operation. http://prr8157.deviantart.com/gallery/6 ... Car-DULUTH Richard |

Way to go guys, this is an exciting save in my book. The exterior hides some real nicely saved interior. Many thanks to the donors and care takers of this car that made this happen. As one of the donors, I am glad to see the pictures of the arrival of the DULUTH at Mid-Continent. Keep it safe, etc. It is a gem! |
