Does anyone know of a source for a Baldwin standard gauge, square counterweight, 8 spoke 30" (36" drivers) or 33" (39" drivers) wheel center drawing? The bearing is 5&1/4", so the bore for the axle should be close to that diameter.

Ive tried Degolyer's extensive library, but it does not mention specifics about dimensions and forces me to find the spec sheet for every locomotive mentioned and scan through it!

Slightly unrelated, does anyone know of a wheel center drawing that is standard gauge (any builder), 6 spoke, 13" (19" wheel) or 12" (18" wheel)? I do not have a specific axle size for this wheel but would guess the bore to be around 3"-4".

Many Vulcan drawings reside at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. Their archivist was instrumental in supplying us with all the drawings for Cliffside 110 a few years ago. I'm sure they can find a drawing of a similar center for you.

Use a drawing from A D&RGW C-16 and adjust the details starting from that. There are also a few of those locomotives scattered around the USA, just encase you can not find that exact drawing and you have to 3D scan one to get your basic information.

Only the spokes are difficult, so once you get those and design the counterweight from the Baldwin counterweights of the same basic size, weights, etc. from the C-16 wheel, You should have it figured out.

It wont be too difficult.
