Fall Foliage Special Set For Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002
At Eastern OregonÂ’s Sumpter Valley Railroad

The Sumpter Valley Railway, Co. is again holding a Fall Foliage Photo Special, on Saturday, Oct. 19, leaving the McEwen Depot at 8 a.m. with a freight consist pulled by the Heisler geared-locomotive.

This will be an all freight train included will be the newly purchased D&RG 40-foot refer, which will be painted in grey with MOW No. 168 on it. Other cars in the consist will be two high-side gons, an SVRy box car and the No. 5 caboose
Cost of the event is $15 per person, and the train will be out until about noon.
