Here's an engine that we haven't seen an update on a in a while - how is the restoration coming along? I thought it was pretty far along, but haven't seen anything recently on the railroad's Facebook page, nor on here, so I thought I'd see if there were any updates on the engine.

Tucked away in the back corner of the old back shop at Stearns, under a strict photography "blackout", per a close associate who saw it a couple months ago. Most likely awaiting another large check from Fed-Gov.

We have crews working on the engine 3-2 weeks per month. There will be no further pictures of the project posted. I have commented before and I will do it again;

As a result of two, maybe three posters on this page (all of whom I am chasing legally), this project ended up under heavy scrutiny by the FRA. When people (like posters of whom I speak on this page) rape web pages of copyrighted photos, make assumptions and have never seen the project with their own eyes, yet they file complaints with FRA, the project normally takes a very big hit. In this case a poster who does not even reside on the mainland of the USA, much less has ever even been to Kentucky and has never seen the project made very deep accusations about the contractor the railroad and the project. These accusations were false and unfounded. The FRA has performed an inspection and the items that were purported in the claim against the contractor and the railroad were all found to be false and unfounded.

The contractor has secured a very capable legal team and the moderators of both RYPN and TrainOrders have been informed that posts made on these pages that claim to be true, but that turn out to be false and if the same posts have harmed a contractor or a railroad in a tangible way, will be charged for the tangible damage. Claims made on RYPN that were also sent to the FRA have produced tangible damage to the railroad and the contractor and we are seeking a return of this tangible damage and we will be compensated by those who did the damage. It is a sizable amount of money.

I can not emphasize enough; When you post a picture on this page, make sure that A.) You own the picture and the copyright. B.) Whatever accusation or assertion you make about the photo is true and factual. C.) When you post a picture and make an accusation you better have enough FIRST HAND knowledge of the event or actions of the others to be able to defend your accusation. D.) If you violate A, B or C be fully prepared to defend yourself against a very talented legal team.

I am just being super honest. The K&T 14 project has suffered greatly as a result of RYPN being used as a battle ground rather than a means to inform and share information. As a result of two-three posters on RYPN (who also post on TO) Wasatch no longer produces videos and we limit anything we put out.

Now, will the K&t 14 run again? Yes it will. Wasatch has only ever walked away from one project and even that project was finished and is running today with great success. It is NOT my intention or goal to walk away from this project and we will see it to the finish, even at the cost of Wasatch. How many other industry contractors would do that? I value the people of the K&T and the Board who wants to see it finished. I value relationships more than money.

You posters here on RYPN know who you are and you keep running from me. Face the fiddler and pay your share of the dance. I will find you and I will make you pay and we will meet one day and we will reconcile this. You can only run so long and so far. The world keeps getting smaller and smaller and smaller.

That is the end of the discussion.

Kindly,
