Good Morning All,
I am a newbie to this forum. I am an modeler in HO scale and have a passion for scratchbuilding structures. I am looking for information regarding the Whitman Station that was on the Old Colony Railroad, Plymouth Branch, in Whitman, Mass. I reside in Arizona so i have been using the internet, phone and other means to obtain information regarding the station. The purpose of the information i seek is to build two models, one prior to the fire in 1972 and one after the fire. I have several photos, but can always use more information, especially interior photos and details. In order to build the station i am in need of a floor plan and elevation, hopefully with some dimensions. I want to build both structures so that i may show them at the NMRA National Convention in Orlando , July 2017. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if this is Whitman Station, but its a small Old Colony car barn with a Whitman sign on one of the trolleys:

In case you haven't seen these items on line:

-- 1915 New Haven Railroad valuation map of the area around Whitman station, as posted on the Connecticut Digital Archive: http://collections.ctdigitalarchive.org ... A860059841

-- 1910 Whitman Passenger Station Plan on vellum, which apparently was available at one time on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Whitman-Passenge ... B004583RTO

You might also want to investigate the Railroad History Archive, part of the Archives & Special Collections at the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center, University of Connecticut. This archive contains a large collection of New Haven Railroad corporate records, including, I believe, some station plans. A good starting place is http://railroads.uconn.edu/ , but you will likely have to contact the curator to determine what material the archives might have on Whitman.

Hope this helps.
