Really rare footage. Kind of makes me wonder what gems might still be lurking in someone's attic or basement. I know when my wife's uncle passed away, the surviving relatives had his 8mm films and slides in a pile for the landfill until my wife spoke up and wanted them. He wasn't a railfan, but I was able to snag several slides he had taken of my wife and her family from the mid-50s--the only color shots we have from that period. He did have some interesting photos of a plane trip he took before jets were the norm.
