I got a good look at the Swedish 4-6-0 that does summer runs out of Unity, Maine. Shop mechanic/engineer told me she is out of service until Spring. Winter project is to replace three staybolts. She has new tubes and should be a strong performer in 2003.

B&ML runs a fleet of GE 70 ton Diesels at present. Two former Berlin Mills engines are stripped for parts and sit without futures. One is indoors and one heavily vandalized on a siding. I was told the railway would like them off the property but have no options right now, other than to let them sit. Want a GE 70 ton lawn ornament?
