Does anybody know whatever happened to Burlington Northern diesel 1774?I'm not sure what class she was,but any information would be much appreciated.<br>

Out of curiosity, what's significant about this engine? Was it a bicentennial unit of some kind?<br>

She used to run the Goldendale branch in Washington state when i was about 3 or 4,with my dad as engineer and i found a photo of me in the cab and got to wondering...<br>

check out Charles Biel's BN Photo Archives:<br>if I'm reading his EMD GP9 records correctly, BN 1774, originally GN 701 (Bldrs# 20844, Dec.'55), was rebuilt in Oct'92...and re-numbered to 1509 ??<br>Looks like it's still out there, good luck !
