Post subject:  Austrailian Fires

I was wondering have the museums in Austrailia that suffered from fires over the last 2-3 years survived? IIRC there was one on the west coast that was a standard gauge railroad museum, where the whole town and area got hit with a wildfire and 2 others with barn fires, IIRC one had a bunch of early interurban/trolley and the other was 7.5 in gauge (or there about). I forget if there was also another one on the eastern coast that got hit with a wildfire.

I never saw an update about any of these and was hoping they were able to salvage enough equipment to rebuild and survive.

The Zig Zag Railway, Lithgow NSW, has a note on their website, https://www.zigzagrailway.com.au/, with status following the destructive fires in 2013. In short, they opened a maintenance shop last year and "hope to resume passenger services in early 2017."
