BL-2 Cab Ride Auction to Benefit B&M #3713

The L&WV Chapter of the NRHS is sponsoring an excursion on the Delaware, Lackawaxen & Stourbridge (the historic former Erie Railroad Honesdale Branch) from Honesdale to Lackawaxen, Pennsylvania on June 10th. Power for the 50-mile round trip through the beautiful scenery through the Lackawaxen River Gorge will be the Stourbridge Line’s rare EMD BL-2 locomotive #54.

There is an online auction for a cab ride in the BL-2. One cab ride will be eastbound, with a coach seat on the return. The other auction is for a coach seat eastbound and the cab ride westbound.

The trip benefits Project3713, the restoration of Boston & Maine #3713 at the Steamtown National Historic Site.

A Bangor & Aroostook Diesel is being marshalled into help rebuild a Boston & Maine steamer. I love the Maine connection!
