After 62 years in Dehy park on display, the #18 was moved into its almost completed new building. As a reminder the #18 will be under steam on July 3rd and later in the year on September 22-24th at Laws Railroad. Tickets and information for both events can be found at www. carsoncolorado.com

So where is the building? In Independence? Out at the old C&C ROW? How did you guys raise all the money for that nice new building? That's a lot of bake sales. At any rate, congrats on a great accomplishment. |

It is located on the south side of the Eastern California Museum property in the town of Independence, Calif. The building is adjacent to where the tender work was done. I drove by it today traveling home from Carson City, Nevada.
