We are excited to announce that High Plains Railroad Preservation in Cheyenne (the premier UP wood caboose restorers !) have been offered very possibly the oldest UP caboose, NCS 2095 from 1881, we will be taking it on as a future restoration.
We are also raising funds for the transportation to Cheyenne of Mt Hood 7 or UP CA-1 2701 from 1924
This one is also very exciting as ...wait for it...it has wheels....something we dont see often. We are currently talking with the city about appropriate locations for its display.

Anyway we have to 2 Go Fund Me campaigns running for these if people would like to donate.

To update you
Car 57 has a new roof going on at this time and 8 new walkover car seats,

UP CA 2516 has the interior almost completed and is on display at Cheyenne steamers miniature railway in Cheyenne

UP 3171 from Boulder is in storage at the silo in Cheyenne

A private project the restoration of UP CA 2409 from 1907 continues to make good progress.
