I'd just like to publicly thank Keith Albrandt for editing our new Flimsies section. These newspaper stories offer not only a lot of information we wouldn't normally get, but also give us a good view of how the rest of the world sees our field of interest. While the Interchange page is good for detailed discussion, it is insular; sometimes we need to step outside and look in from the eyes of the general public. Great job Keith! There are so many posts, I can barely keep up..

Ditto to Bob's comments. Keith has done a great job!

And, he can do an even better job if people from around the country will take the 2-3 minutes it takes to post items of interest to railway preservation and history on Flimsies. It doesn't have to be from a newspaper either, it can be a news item from a museum website, or whatever.

And, we welcome overseas contributors as well.

Please do keep up the good work. I forward a lot of Flimsies to people off list who really appreciate the imformation as well. Thankfully, Wrinn is a journalist in my area so he can handle the local contributions.
