Can someone in Strasburg help me out with some non-rail information? When in the area I always stayed at "The Willows" out on Rte. 30, a wonderful old pre-War place. But I haven't stayed in the area in over ten years, and can't find a telephone number or other information for it. Is The Willows still in operation? Can someone provide a way to contact the place? Thanks. JAC |

The Willows was torn down several years ago to make way for The American Music Theater. There are plenty of other places though, as you probably know, you can't swing a dead cat in the vicinity of Strasburg without hitting a motel owner. Strasburg Rail Road kelly@strasburgrailroad.com |

> The Willows was torn down several years ago That's too bad. That place was a real slice of Americana. Thanks, Kelly. JAC |

The Fulton is the motel that looks like a big landlocked Mississippi riverboat... All that money spent on a fancy facade, and the thing is (now) hidden behind a Hess convenience store steamnut@ptd.net |
