The old stack is worn out, the smoke box was rusted out. #1 iron is almost worthless, so what do you do with scrap, venerate it!!
Think of the old boiler backhead from 1361 wonder what it would be worth to some PRR fanatic?

Before anyone continues this thread, please see my note a few posts below. Unless someone has a new point of view to add, lets leave this one be for a while. Both the critics and the defenders have had their say.
