When edaville when out of bussiness in the mid 90's and George Bartholomew had the Auction on all the stuff that was in the museum and what was on the grounds of Edaville...I already know that the Maine NG equipment is in Maine and complete...What I would like to know what happem to the stuff in the museum,,,and what was on the grounds for railroad equipment,, Also to add B&M #1455 is in Danbury, Ct and also I know the FLYING YANKEE is in Claremont N,H under restorrestion.. As for some of the Edaville steam locomotives that were on static display... The Mexican 30-inch gauge outside-frame 2-8-0 12 has been restored to operating condition and it's now at the Alder Gulch Shortline Railroad in Nevada City, MT. The ex-Mason Lumber 2-truck standard gauge Climax 4 is now on display at the Railroad Museum of PA at Strasburg. The ex-Argent Lumber 3-foot gauge cabbage-stacked 2-8-0 4 is now at the Connecticut Antique Machinery Association at Kent, CT. The ex-Godchaux Sugar 3-foot gauge 2-6-0 6 is now on display at the Fennimore Railroad Historical Society Museum at Fennimore, WI. Regards, Jim Robinson |
