Without commenting on the political situation the Arkansas Socialist, er, sorry,Democrat Gazette reports on in Flimsies on the dissolution of the Reader Community, the Reader RR is NOT torn up. All of its trackage is still in place from when it was pruned back to a 5 mile length back in the70's. They have an ongoing program to preserve and operate their equipment,which has not been made any more affordable under the new rules. As always,just don't believe everything you read in the news paper. |
