I currently attend one of the fine educational institutions (ha!) in Williamsport, Pa. As I was leaving school yesterday to head home for the weekend I was traveling down Maynard St. when i was stopped by an approaching train. What I though was just a normal move on the Lycoming Valley turned out to be some sort of passenger excursion. Following the lead SW-9 was an N-8 cabin followed by three or four open window coaches, a closed window smooth side passenger car, a baggage car (souvenir/concession car?),and lastly another of the SW's. All the passenger equipment was painted up nicely in Pennsy markings. Anybody know what was behind this and who the passenger equipment belongs to? I know Mr. Levin's engines are going to be in the area next weekend, but i was certainly not expecting this. Thanks in advance for any response. -Erich Armpriester armeri39@email.pct.edu |

The equipment used to be at the West Shore tourist line in Lewsiburg. > educational institutions (ha!) in > Williamsport, Pa. I believe the railroad operated a couple of passenger specials this past week for shippers and other invited guests. Alan Maples AMaples@aol.com |
