We had an OVERWHELMING response today for this excursion. Nobody could know in advance the weather would be perfect, the 2317 would run flawlessly, visitors would see additional action from the D-L, but a SOLD OUT train and a full museum testify to the power of a 25 mile one-way fall-foliage excursion. Thanks to everybody- I think you got mgmt's attention. Thanks from the operating staff. Behold the power of the internet and way to publicize within the confines of the prohibition on advertising. |
