I had just seen at the end of March the Erie Lackawanna lettering on sd45-2 1700 were changed to CR patch lettering http://www.railpictures.net/photo/653643/ any idea why?? |

The railpictures link brought me to a page not found page. I am going to out on a limb and say some would think this probably belongs in the railfaning section of the forum. On the other hand I think this locomotive would be an excellent addition to any museum, when that time finally comes. |

Just saw the 1700 yesterday alongside the NJ Turnpike. The lettering was the same as always. - Chris |

Sounds like an April Fool's Photoshop that got by the rp amins for a while? |
