Minnesota Transportation Museum is thrilled to announce the donation of a General Electric 35-ton switcher by General Mills. General Mills is a leader in the Metro area business community and MTM is grateful to be able to work with them on this donation.
MTM would also like to thank the Minnesota Commercial, Twin Cities Transport & Recovery, and Morrell & Morrell, LP for their assistance.
The locomotive was purchased by General Mills in the 1960s and spent much of its life serving the elevator on Hiawatha Avenue.
