| Post subject: | Arizona State RR Museum Receives NG Rolling Stock |
The slowly-abuilding Arizona State Railroad Museum at Williams, Arizona (not to be confused with the similarly named Arizona Railway Museum in Chandler, Phoenix-area) has taken delivery of two wooden narrow-gauge cars from Colorado. Museum director Al Richmond forwarded me some photos. According to Mr. Richmond: Quote: The stock car roof needs a bunch of work but we may very well be able to flip the boards and not have to replace very many. It comes complete with two decks full of sheep [droppings] that has been solidifying since 1969. I haven’t been inside the boxcar yet…that will probably be an experience. The boxcar will eventually wind up in a reddish brown Magma Arizona livery and the stock car in black United Verde & Pacific livery.
