Post subject:  ITEMS STOLEN from Minnesota Transportation Museum

We need your help!

On May 14, at approximately 1:45 am, the suspect pictured here stole a locomotive air horn and other items from the Jackson Street Roundhouse. One of the items removed was a Hancock Air Whistle. If anyone sees a Hancock Air Whistle for sale in the upper Midwest, we would like to know about it.

The Minnesota Transportation Museum is deeply saddened that an individual would choose to steal historic objects from our facility. Photos, taken from the security system, are below.

A report has been filed with the St Paul Police Department. We would appreciate any information that anyone may have regarding this theft. Please PM us on our Facebook page or email office@trainride.org

Just wanting to give this post an update to keep it fresh on the minds of those who collect railroad artifacts, especially train horns. We are still missing the items stolen from MTM. Hopefully a member of the rail community sees one of our items posted for sale and can alert us.

Thanks again for keeping a watchful eye out for us.
