These showed up in Crossett, Arkansas. "Stored for museum" was on the paperwork. (Edited for location correction! Bad assumption on my part..)

I wonder if any of these cars were used in any of the arsenal's or loadouts. Many years ago there were some ex Army boxcars stored in the Revenna Arsenal near Revenna, Ohio and were cut up due to traces of Dust from explosives from when they were used on the loadout and storage area at Revenna. Cool find. |

The car 2nd from the right end in the 2nd photograph looks like a PRR X31 round roof boxcar. Does it also carry Army reporting marks? |

Are these at a Georgia-Pacific paper mill in Crossett, Arkansas? My friend knows they have been stored there for many years. If not, then they have been moved. A neat feat considering the journal bearings. |

They are still in Crossett. I assumed they were in Camden due to who posted them and the fact they do store a lot of cars there! |

Texas State RR had some US Army boxcars made of wood, which were very lightly constructed, being intended to be transported by ship to conflicts abroad. They probably have more than they need. |
