Post subject:  3x big steam meet 1990, 1522 1218 844
So I stumbled on this photo. Oh golden days! But other than just randomly posting a photo, I noticed that 1218 and 844 appear to still have their steam heat auxiliaries. I can't tell on 1522. I am guessing that these have been removed in the last cycle of rebuildings for 844.

And I see that 1522's tender is sporting a tightlock coupler; was that added during the rebuild of 1522?

I can confirm that 1218 still has its steam heat lines and connection.

We changed to the Tightlock coupler on the initial Restoration as well as removed the steam heat connection. However, we built a box on the back of the tender for keeping our steam oil in on the road and put a steam coil in it to keep the oil fluid. We still had the steam heat line back to there, just removed the piping/connection on the hind end.
Its a shame the 819 couldn't make it.
