Just returned from two weeks in Cal. and Nevada and trying to catch up. One Flimsies post referred to the likely demolition of a trolley building in Green Bay, WI. Was this a carbarn, substation, or what? Any more info. available?

Yes, it is an old streetcar carbarn. Interestingly enough, until a month ago, it housed an unrestored Birney car which belonged to an Appleton, Wisconsin trolley museum. This car has been sent to LaCrosse, WI, where it originally ran until 1945.

The former carbarn was used for city buses for many years, and still had the wooden troughs overhead inside which formerly held the trolley wire for the streetcars.
