Post subject:  Pass. Car EOT Brackets

While shipping a car recently on NS, I was told that our existing EOT brackets that were added to the passenger car were no longer "compatible". The local car shop was able to make some modifications to the existing bracket, which looked to be nothing more than opening up the mounting surface.

Can anyone share some info? Drawings?

Thanks!

There are two types being used- one has tabs and spreads up and down to secure the EOT to the knuckle, the other has two fingers on each end horizontally, and clamp towards each other.

There is a link for the first type, I will go out and take a picture of a bracket I made for using with my passenger cars till I can fabricate and weld EOT brackets to each one (with 14 cars now, that's a lot of brackets and welding!!!)
