Niles Canyon Railway needs ~60' of 2" petroleum oil suction hose, and 50'~75' of 1-1/2" or 2" petroleum delivery hose, for a one-time task. We will be pumping a blend of clean lubricating oil and hydraulic oil. New hose is very expensive... roughly $10/foot or more. Does anyone have suitable hose that we could borrow or rent for a week or two? Thanks! - Doug Debs cell 650-704-1487 |

Have you checked with your local oil recycler and or underground tank removal company? -Hudson |

Unless you have pressurized delivery or overhead tank, I doubt you can suck thick oil up a 2 inch 60 ft long hose producing good delivery .I had the best sucess using a 5' suction hose to the pump which then delivered quite well, though I do not know your particular circumstances. |

You want to contact some local environmental, industrial, waste clean up company's. They would have the equipment needed including the hose. Don't know if they would rent you just the hoses you need but worth a try. |
