1880 UP caboose 2095 is loaded finally and heading to Cheyenne saturday, this completes the move of two cabooses with the help of Boulder Parks and Open Space. Nice people to work with and nice that they wished to donate instead of destroy these two historic cabooses.

Nice work. Boulder Parks and Open Space - is that county government? Good to see a government agency take its stewardship role seriously and not view these wood cars as disposable eyesores. They are fortunate to have someone like yourself that has the time, determination, and skill to get these wood cars back to a state of repair such that they can tell their story. So, what's the roster at the silo looking like these days? Besides what is at the silo, any more rolling stock that you have not yet moved from this site or any other? When do you anticipate getting the trucks under 57? Thank you. |
