The Press-Enterprise reported that the Santa Fe Depot located in San Bernardino Calif. will be brought back to its former glory. This will be a $13,000,000 project and when finished will be used by Amtrak and the county's transportation agency.
Thats one more saved for future generation to admire and wonder what it was like to travel by REAL trains
P.S.I had that thrill on Aug.19th of this year riding #3751 when it pulled into this station for service. Dave

Isn't it special that the City of San Bernardino has enough vision to restore the depot and the surrounding area. To bad more cities don't do this instead of using a bulldozer and adding a shopping mall.
