Hi, I am searching for detailed elevation drawings for Milw F6a and F7 class steam locomotive tenders? My aim is to build a 3d model of two Milw steam heat tenders. Tender #74 which is said to be the sole F7 tender conversion and tender #72 which was one of the F6a tender conversions. At this point I have not found any decent high quality elevation drawings for either class of steam locomotive tender. I did get 2 low quality scans from the Milw hist socty but they are too dark and faded to work with. If anyone has any photos in color of either tender those would be very helpful to make out roof details and other fine details. Robert |

I have not searched their database to see what they have but a good place to start would be the Milwaukee Road Archives - MPL. Here is a link and under "Collection Overview", there is a link to "Milwaukee Road Drawings". https://www.mpl.org/archives/milwaukee_ ... chives.php Good luck. |

You might try Lake States Railway Historical Association in Baraboo, WI. They may have something helpful. http://lsrha.org/default.php |
