The Society for the Preservation of Carter Railroad Resources is having some c.1870's Buntin seat frames cast for other groups. The patterns were made some years ago for a previous restoration, based on a seat from a 1878 Carter narrow gauge coach.

For a limited time, The Railroad Museum at Ardenwood is offering a five-casting iron part set for an authentic 1870's Buntin walk-over style coach seat . This set includes all the castings required for a single seat. Upholstered seat and seat back are not included.. The five-casting part set is priced at $219, F.O.B. Valley Springs, California. Orders and required deposit must be in hand by January 3, 2019. For details, please contact Bruce MacGregor, Collections Manager, The Railroad Museum at Ardenwood: bruce.alan.macgregor@gmail.com.
