Does anyone know what Ross Rowland is up to these days? Does he have any plans to run 614? Is steam in his future?

Can't speak for Mr. Rowland's plans, but it seems safe to say that 614 won't be running until someone performs an FRA Part 230 survey on her.

Correct me if I am wrong Steve Gilbert or anyone else, but I don't beleive the work has been done, and that would be a prerequisite to future operation.

She is presently stored at Reading Blue Mountain & Northern's shops.

Above is correct, as far as RBM&NRR is concerned, except that 614 is stored outside, near the shop. It has not been touched since being split (engine and tender) to be placed on the storage track.
