I am a member of a museum that is currently engaged in the preservation of two former Souther Pacific Postwar Cabooses and one SP Boxcar from 1917, but we are having problems finding the correct paint colors for them.

Normally, we would turn to the CSRM for help, but they are currently swamped with requests for information. So I thought I'd turn to you guys/gals. What I'm specifically looking for is an SP color drift panel of the caboose body color, and if possible a color name and paint manufacturer code number.

I would also Like to know if this is the same color that was used on the SP's boxcars prior to WWII or if there was another paint color used? If there was another color what specific SP color drift panel? I'm also interested in finding out just when SP started using SP color #11 on there boxcars?

Any help you can provide will be most helpful!
