Howdy All-

Does anyone happen to have any specifications, or can point me to them, for an old Jackson Track Maintainer?

Things like height, width, length, weight, etc.

Thanks in advance-

Mike

I don't have any leads for you, but I will give you a bit of a warning. These things weren't made by Ford or Chevy and they tend to be far more "one off" than you might expect. They made improvements and modifications as they went. I recall talking to somebody at Tamper about a machine one time and he said "Oh, yeah, I remember that one. We called it a Mark 2-1/2..." It had some, but not all the improvements of the Mark 3. Add in the fact that the railroads weren't shy about modifying them either and you end up with a situation where what the book says, if you can find one, may or may not match what you actually have. For weight and dimensions, especially if you're shipping it, I'd suggest doing actual measurements.
