I would like to invite all Toledo Peoria and Western fans here to join the newly reformed TP&W Historical Society. If you are interested please PM me your email so I can add you to the society mailing list. Membership is free.

I have a question. Were the Toledo, Peoria & Western's 4-8-4's the smallest (lightest) Northern's built for a North American railroad? They were almost certainly, the least photographed.

Yes indeed! They were the lightest 4-8-4s on a North American railroad. 69" drivers.

Thomas,
Have you heard that the Illinois Railway Museum has just purchased a T,P & W Diesel in New Jersey. See the IRM web site for pictures.

The museum now has two fo their Diesels.

According to what I can find the TP&W had two Industrial Brownhoist cranes, #91 & 99.
This is all I have:

10806 37t DC 1933 Toledo, Peoria & Western RR East Peoria, IL

Can you fill in the blanks?
