VERY good job at pacing by the camera man considering despite being a gravel road as evidence of the dust cloud behind the vehicle. The 3449 is accelerating during the pace. The vehicle driver certainly had their hands full.

This one of the best pacing sequences I have ever seen.

Note the modern feature of the Class 25, the crosshead counterbalance.

Assuming the commenter is David Niven since he mentioned he was firing with John Gilberthorpe being his driver. He commented on needing to hand fire as the stoker was down.

That was a great job and gave us a good look at the engine. One tends to forget that these are narrow gauge engines imitating a UP Northern in Neb.
It looked like it was running down in the corner most of the time by the look of the link.
