The South Eastern Narrow Gauge & Short Line Railroad Museum has acuquired this wood caboose. But their main web site nor their Facebook pages tell me who built it or when.

I assume that a caboose like this may have other numbers in its family tree. What are they?

The name CC&O also seems to be associated with it.

Carolina Clinchfield and Ohio Railway (CCO) operated after 1924 by the Clinchfield Railroad (CRR), a jointly owned subsidiary of the Atlantic Coast Line and the Louisville and Nashville.

Number 1023 was built by the Clinchfield RR at its shops in Erwin TN in 1920.

It was one of only 10 cars (CC&O 1020-=1029) built to U.S.R.A. plans just after WW I.
