Kettle Moraine's Ex-NP Business car was moved recently to the Oconomowoc, WI Depot Restaurant.
Go to the link below for photos of the car before and after the move.

Allan: When I visited the KM during their last weekend of running, the NP passenger car was painted green and lettered for the Northern Pacific. I note that she has been repainted in Maroon (or Wine Red.) Does that possibly mean she is going to be relettered for the Soo?

Has any other equipment left Kettle Moraine over the last several months? Also, does anyone know if KM issued an employee timetable and rule book during their operating days? I'm looking for copies.

If you aren't attending the convention in Durango I will bring your question to Steven Butler's attention. There has been a somewhat confusing array of stuff actually sold and moved, theoretically sold but not moved, not for sale, maybe sold, maybe leased, etc. I have heard of a lot of intentions but not the same amount of follow through about would be aquisitors.

Les, I have it from a semi-reliable source that the SOO Line wine red paint is soon to be complimented by MStP&SSM lettering.

One other car was moved recently. The link below has photos of the move. The car's ultimate destination was a museum in New Mexico.

Post subject:  OOPS! WC, Not MStP&SStM

Just found out my semi-reliable source isn't very reliable. It's supposed to get Wisconsin Central lettering, not MStP&SStM lettering. (According to a little bit more reliable source).
